Fellow of ATSE Professor Brian Uy Joins SCP Governance Board
The International Society for Smart Construction and Production (SCP) is delighted to announce that Scientia Professor Brian Uy has officially joined the SCP Governance Board as a distinguished board member.
Professor Brian Uy holds the title of Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). He is currently a Scientia Professor at the University of New South Wales, Australia. He also serves as Fellow of the Royal Society of New South Wales, Foreign Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
His research focuses on steel-concrete composite structures, structural seismic performance, building engineering safety and national structural code compilation. He is one of the most authoritative scholars in the global structural engineering field, with more than 600 high-quality academic publications and long-term leadership in the formulation of Australian national construction industry standards.
With the arrival of Professor Brian Uy, the professional depth and global influence of the SCP Governance Board expert panel have been greatly enhanced.
