Background
The construction industry is under increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions, enhance resource efficiency, and ensure durability in infrastructure development. Cementitious materials, while indispensable, are associated with high cement consumption and environmental impacts. Emerging strategies—such as nanocellulose modification, construction waste valorization, and intelligent monitoring—offer promising pathways for sustainable transformation. This Task Group provides a collaborative platform to advance research and practice on eco-efficient cementitious composites and intelligent construction technologies, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient built environment.
